I loved staying at City House Hostels in Philly. I think part of why I loved the city so much was the great and comfy atmosphere in the hostel as well as the warm and welcoming people. Will definitely come back 🙂

You can't beat the price here, and you get a great value for your money. Stayed on a Saturday night with a friend, and we were excited for the bar crawl. Although only 3 people (us being 2) showed up, Jayden the host took us out and helped us enjoy the city. The staff at the hostel were very friendly and helpful whenever we had questions. Would definitely stay here again.

Just stayed one night, the people working there were very kind and helpful. Overall everything was good, my only negative point is the water temperature in the shower. I was not able to get that up to a tolerable temperature.

Had a very nice stay at the Atlantic City hostel. In fact, I can not even remember the last time I slept so well! It was very affordable, at 30$/night when all the neighboring hotels were selling for 10 times more during President's Day weekend. Susan treats you like you are her best friend from childhood, in all the dozens of hostels I have stayed at I have never met a more gracious and hospitable host! As in all casino towns, always be aware of your surroundings and travel in groups at night.

Great stay! The hostel is conveniently located near many casinos (few blocks away from Bally's), is across the street from Rite Aid and Dunkin Donuts-great places to nurse a hangover if you happen to be partying all night. It is also along one of the main roads so whatever you need-it's nearby. Love the vibe of the hostel-the other occupants are super friendly and great amenities! Susan is a great host, gives a nice tour to get you settled and gives great recommendations on where to go!

So I've never stayed in a hostel before this was my first time and wasn't really sure what to expect with that said I'll encourage anyone who wants a friendly clean and natural vibe to go stay at Atlantic City It was even better and more than I expected the host Suzanne is so warmhearted and welcoming funny and truly a great person you would like to meet. I've met so many new friends lol my Instagram is buzzing!!!! The way guests come together and get to know more about each other is a total

This is the best hostel I have ever stayed at. I’ve traveled all throughout Europe, South America and the states. Staff are trained well in hospitality. Breakfast is legit, free beer on arrival and a very social scene! One minor downside is it’s further than some other places to the mall. But if you can deal with a slightly longer commute, it’s well worth your stay

I really liked how cozy and homely you feel in the hostel. The living room and lounge are very nice and the kitchen and the bathroom modern, clean and well equipped. The staff was really friendly and helpful, they even got me soy milk for breakfast. The neighborhood is great for bar tours if you're 21. Otherwise take the metro and within 15 minutes you're at the Capitol. Overall, I can really recommend this hostel, it is one of the best I ever stayed in.

Highroad is one of the nicest hostels I've ever stayed in. The staff was very helpful, the common areas are comfortable, and they include nearly every amenity you could need (hair dryer in the bathroom, eye masks/ear plugs, etc.). The 6-bed female dorm I stayed in was great - very clean, comfortable beds, large lockers, and honestly the fanciest shower I've ever used! I can't think of any improvements they could make. The little list of neighborhood recommendations was also quite helpful!

Located in Philadelphia's Old City, Apple Hostel is the perfect base for exploring America's most historic city. With the Museum of the American Revolution located 2 minutes away and the Liberty Bell only a 7-minute walk, it doesn't get any better.
There are dorm rooms, private rooms, and family rooms, making it ideal for every type of traveler. Regardless of who you came with, their nightly events like pasta dinner and the ghost tour will ensure you leave Philadelphia with new friends.
Very impressed, highly recommended. Almost nothing to complain about this hostel. Extremely good for its price point. Location was great, within walking distance to most important Philly sites. Cleanliness was good.

Great time meeting new people. The bar crawl was fun and the staff was helpful. Easy walking to a number of sites, and very safe. Loved the additional security measures for the woman’s dorm.

I don't stay at hostels frequently but I think this was a good stay. The hostel staff tries to promote the atmosphere and it helped me make some good friends. I would stay again.
