This is a beautiful, awesome hostel. Everything is so well thought out. Owner is thoughtful and the place is the best. I didn't want to leave. The pictures you see on the website is exactly as it really looks. So convenient to everything.
The best hostel experience in my life. Clean, quiet, all the practical amenities and a beautifully crafted house that helps you feel like home. Supervisors are present but not obtrusive. Even helpful reminders are posted in non-obtrusive
This place has all the little details that made it a wonderful stay: awesome kitchen amenities, recommendations in town, and a central location that makes it easy to explore downtown Missoula. They even have computers you can use!
Set in a historic mansion in Denver's Capitol Hill neighborhood, Ember is a boutique hostel that will redefine your expectation of what a hostel can be. Every detail has been carefully considered from the rainfall showers to the Edison lights. Despite the fancy touches, Ember is a very social hostel. With a jacuzzi that fits twelve people, the outdoor area is the perfect spot to start your night.
The location is a perfect base for exploring Denver with live music venues, coffee shops, and the state capitol an easy walking distance from the hostel. When you get back from a long day of exploring, relax at the hostel with an espresso or lay your head down on the king size pillows.

To be honest I’d score it a 12 if I could. This may ruin staying at other hostels for some travelers. Just far enough out of downtown to be quiet yet still have bars, restaurants, dispensaries and a brewery all within a few blocks. Fire pit and hot tub for socializing. Pillow top mattresses, blackout privacy curtains and Edison lights give the bunks more of a sleeping car feel. Bit of an older crowd which was kind of nice, I was definitely not the only one 40+ there.

Hostel is Just like in the pictures, no false advertisement here. Light bulbs by the pool broke one night and fixed the next day; very efficient. Beds were beyond comfortable and loved having a curtain for privacy. People are the ones who make the environment so make sure to be social or at least cordial if you are introvert for an enjoyable stay. Downtown is walk-in distance. Very clean bathroom and odor free. Spacious kitchen to store food. Highly recommended.

This place is soo great! Historic home that’s been re-done to maintain it’s vintage charm, but with a funky twist. There was always at least a couple of people hanging in the common areas if you want to make friends, but a bit of an older, chill crowd. Even late on weekend nights people were quiet and respectful. 24-hour super nice and knowledgeable staff. Cozy bed linens. Plenty of bathrooms & showers. Very clean. Free coffee/espresso + lots of other cool amenities & nice perks.
